How to read the Daily Readstart here →

  1. Today's page is a decision. The desk's position, the reasoning, and what would cancel it. One page a day.
  2. Risk-off is an answer too. On those days the desk watches; no trade is a position, not an empty page.
  3. Check the history. Past issues are scored against the market below: the rule is published next to its own account.

CoinStrategyTFTriggerEntryCurrentNet PnL

Net PnL includes each venue's standard taker fee (Binance 0.05%, Bybit 0.055%), 0.05% assumed slippage per side, and the actual perp funding paid or received on that venue since entry. Spot longs have no funding.

Top 20 hourly contexts

Research context only, not 20 automatic trades. The screen ranks 100 liquid crypto USDT pairs after each closed 1h candle. Per coin: close versus SMA200h plus 30h momentum. The executable strategy still requires the full Daily Read gate, pick, 3–5 confirmations and toxicity veto.

Important: this table supplies hourly coin context. It does not open a trade unless the full Daily Read strategy passes.

How this read is built

Method below the answer on purpose: the verdict, what moved since yesterday and the evidence come first, and the machinery that produced them is here for anyone checking the working.

Data & hypothesisCandidateTestIndicatorScreenerDaily Read

A candidate is not yet an indicator. It reaches the Screener only after history and regime checks. Daily Read does not create a new trigger; it combines evidence from the validated indicators.

Timeframe and execution

Decision timeframe: 1h. Daily Read evaluates the latest complete Binance 1h candle. The final Daily Read fusion—not the Top-20 table alone—creates a position. Trigger is fixed at the hourly close; execution is the next 1h open. The trigger is parallel: every confirmed breakout that passes the per-coin checks holds a slot — up to 10 positions, 1/10 of capital each. Each position exits only by its own 10% trailing stop, a 30-day time stop, or the regime gate closing — never by a mere trigger flip.

One read from 7 inputs. This is not 7 independent confirmations: regime, breakout and relative strength partly describe the same trend; funding, whales, flows and toxicity test entry quality. A press read needs 3–5 independent confirmations after the regime gate; 7 is the number of inputs in the synthesis. Contrarian trades did not hold up across multiple market cycles, so Daily Read does not try to catch reversals. It requires three layers to agree:

1 · WHENMarket Regime

Opens or closes risk: should a long be considered at all?

2 · WHATBreakout · Relative Strength

Select every coin with confirmed momentum, up to 10 slots in parallel.

3 · ENTRY QUALITYFunding · Whales · Flow · Toxicity

Check that the entry is not late and has independent confirmation.

4 · EXIT QUALITYTrailing 10% · 30-day stop · Regime slam

Profit is not handed back: exit on a 10% trail from the peak, after 30 days, or when the regime shuts, never on a mere trigger flip.

Triggers, not calls. A fused read is still one lens, pair it with your own risk. Components are live market/on-chain data; past behaviour ≠ future. See each input: regime · breakout · funding · whale · flow.
