First time on the top traders desk?

The desk runs its own numbers and publishes its calls next to the account that trades them. The short route:

DESK — INDICATOR

Cross-chain Flow

Money moves before price does. When it is deposited into a chain's DeFi, that chain's TVL. The dollars locked in it: goes up; when it is withdrawn, TVL falls. Below: how much money sits in DeFi in total, then the chains that gained it this week and the chains that lost it.

The idea. Money does not disappear between chains, it moves. The chain it moves into is where the next liquid names usually appear — an answer to where to look, not a trigger to buy.

Money coming in

A row reads → Base · $4.6B · +$5M · +0.1%: Base holds $4.6B in DeFi and gained $5M this week. Weeks of money arriving while the token lags is a chain worth watching.

Money leaving

Chains whose TVL fell over the last 7 days.
red = money leftTVL parked on that chain now7d $ dollars out over the week

A row reads → Tron · $4.8B · −$43M · −0.9%: Tron still holds $4.8B but $43M left this week. Treat a bounce here with more caution.

These chains moved, but the move cannot be called money arriving. A board that quietly shrank reads as a calm market, so the desk prints what it refused and on which number.

How to read it

TVL (total value locked) is the dollar value sitting in a chain's DeFi — the money people put in and left there. Rising means more went in than came out; falling means the opposite. A chain that gains money for weeks while its token lags is worth a look; a chain losing money into a price bounce is a reason for caution. Read it as money flow, not a price target: TVL can rise on rewards that are later switched off. Pair it with price and the screener.

Where it breaks. Percent flatters a chain that grew from almost nothing, so a move also has to clear a floor in dollars. TVL is counted in the coins deposited: a chain whose token rose shows more dollars without one new dollar arriving, and that move leaves the board. A bridge migration breaks it the other way — TVL moves across without new money, and the receiving chain looks like it won something.

Triggers, not calls. TVL moves on farming incentives and token prices too, not just organic demand. A big number isn't automatically bullish. Data is live open on-chain TVL, past behaviour ≠ future.
